Hello Theatre Hikers!

Thank you so much for all of your support, whether you are just joining us or have been with us for years. Last year was a very rough year for Theatre-Hikes, and because of your support (and a small grant) we were able to make it through the year with our mission statement intact. At the end of the year several of you donated up to and over $100 each and we were able to purchase 3 more costume racks, saving us a few hundred dollars a year in clothes that a costume designer would be forced to buy because they couldn’t find it in our stock.

This year we face new challenges.

We were able to find a temporary solution to being ousted at Berger Park on New Years Eve of 2011. However, we always knew this was a temporary measure and we are still in search for a new home. As our veteran Theatre-Hikers know, we rely on our costumes and props and often accept donations of objects and clothing to use in our shows. To keep these items we need space. We are hoping to continue our collaboration with Underscore Theatre company to save money on space. We also always have costs as we pay all of the people who work with us.
